ANDREW LANZA
RECEIVES ENDORSEMENT FROM OVER THIRTY-FIVE CIVIC LEADERS FROM ACROSS
STATEN ISLAND - 2006
Staten Island – Councilman Andrew J. Lanza
today received the endorsement of more than thirty-five civic leaders
from across
Staten Island in his campaign for New York State
Senate. Lanza has previously been endorsed by the Richmond County
Republican Party Executive Committee as well as Mayor Bloomberg,
Congressman Fossella, Councilman Oddo and Assemblymen Ignizio and
Mirones.
"I am honored to have
the personal support of so many outstanding community leaders on
Staten Island," Lanza said. "I have worked
together with many of them over the years on dozens of projects that
have made our community a better place to live. We have teamed up to
downzone our community to stop reckless development, create new parks
for families and children, improve our local schools and also develop
solutions to the traffic problems in the borough. This strong
relationship has produced many successes for
Staten Island, and I look forward to continuing
to work with each of these leaders as a Member of the State Senate."
