Staten Island – Councilman Andrew J. Lanza today received the endorsement of more than thirty-five civic leaders from across Staten Island in his campaign for New York State Senate.             "I am honored to have the personal support of so many outstanding community leaders on Staten Island," Lanza said. "I have worked together with many of them over the years on dozens of projects that have made our community a better place to live. We have teamed up to downzone our community to stop reckless development, create new parks for families and children, improve our local schools and also develop solutions to the traffic problems in the borough.
